Job Description for Master Planner/Scheduler
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Master Planner/Scheduler to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring the flow of products through the complete production cycle. The Master Planner/Scheduler will provide timely planning and scheduling of manufacturing work orders to the manufacturing floor in order to achieve both internal financial goals and customer delivery dates.
Responsibilities:
- Review open sales orders to determine customer requirements.
- Coordinate delivery of parts to expedite flow of material to meet production schedule.
- Support purchasing of expedite suppliers purchase orders if required.
- Utilize ERP system to auto-generate manufacturing work orders.
- Release manufacturing work orders.
- Coordinate with production team to ensure timely completion of work orders.
- Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed.
- Communicate with internal teams and external customers regarding production schedules and delivery dates.
- Identify and resolve production issues to ensure on-time delivery.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in production planning and scheduling.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Requirements:
- Production and Processing – Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
- Ability to interact well with internal and external customers.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficient use of computer systems and software applications.
- In-depth knowledge of ERP or MRP software preferred.
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; minimum 5 years production planning experience in a related industry.
