Job Description:
We are looking for a Screen Press Supervisor to lead our screen-printing team and ensure efficient, high-quality production of our apparel. This role is ideal for an experienced Screen Press Operator who is ready to step into a leadership role, or an existing supervisor looking for an opportunity to contribute to a meaningful mission. We are willing to train the right candidate who possesses strong technical skills but limited leadership experience.

The Screen Press Supervisor will oversee daily press operations, coordinate workflow, train staff, and uphold quality and efficiency standards. This position requires a balance of hands-on technical expertise and leadership abilities to drive a motivated, high-performing team.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily screen-printing production, ensuring efficiency, quality, and adherence to deadlines.
  • Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain automatic and manual screen-printing presses.
  • Train and mentor team members, fostering skill development and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor print quality, color accuracy, and consistency across production runs.
  • Manage job scheduling, material usage, and workflow to optimize output.
  • Enforce workplace safety, cleanliness, and equipment maintenance protocols.
  • Collaborate with the design and production teams to execute print specifications accurately.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance productivity.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Screen Press Operator (automatic and/or manual presses).
  • Strong technical understanding of screen-printing processes, inks, and materials.
  • Leadership potential or previous supervisory experience in a production environment.
  • Ability to train and mentor team members in best practices and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Keen attention to detail, ensuring print quality and consistency.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in a dynamic production setting.
  • Familiarity with screen press maintenance and safety protocols.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience leading a team in a production or manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing and process improvement methodologies.
  • Experience working with high-volume apparel production.
