Position Summary

This position can be based in any of our offices globally and is not limited to the U.S.. 


Positioned within the Global Team, the Loyalty Specialist will contribute to the growth of loyalty programs within The IRONMAN Group’s portfolio of brands with a view to attract, retain and reward athletes, improving retention and extending customer life cycle.  


This position will focus on the execution of strategy, supporting the Director to create, iterate, and market retention tools and platforms. As such, this position must have a strong attention to detail, be organized, analytical, and have a flair for customer relationship building. 


Key Responsibilities 

  • Ensure total execution (both customer facing and back-end) of existing loyalty programs for The IRONMAN Group’s properties. This includes maintaining enrolment and execution of membership benefits. 
  • Support the development of new loyalty platforms, including liaison with vendors, web, IT. Provide content and design briefs as necessary. 
  • Work with data specialists to provide reports and analysis on each program’s progression and effectiveness. 
  • Use data to strategize and provide recommendations for product orders and program improvements. 
  • Oversee the inventory of rewards including budgeting, ordering, mailing and associated costs and invoice payments. 
  • In collaboration with wider team, execute tactical marcomms campaigns that encourage affiliation with loyalty campaigns. 
  • Collaborate with graphic design department to develop, associated marketing touchpoints. 
  • Support inbound customer service and inquiries for loyalty programs. Record within CMS. 
  • Work with the regional Athlete Development teams to execute IRONMAN’s All World Athlete loyalty program. 
  • Work closely with the Regional Marketing Managers to create a marketing schedule for the programs and toolkit. 
  • Collaborate with the Athlete Services and Customer Services team to efficiently manage customer queries and issues for all programs. 
  • Develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders including Marketing, Operations, Global Partnerships, Merchandise and Licensing departments. 
  • Travel to select events and build relationships with participants, communicate the loyalty programs and drive enrollment/ sales. 
  • Support Global Marketing team on broader Campaign, Programs, Brands and Licensee aspects as required 
Requirements

Skills and competencies 

  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • 1 – 3 years marketing experience  
  • Excellent influencing and negotiation skills, with the ability to advocate for change in any environment among peers, managers, executives, and outside partners 
  • Possess a goal-oriented approach, with the desire and capability to track activities to business metrics and an overall plan 
  • A passion for an active lifestyle is a plus 
  • Ability to work some weekends and non-traditional hours 
  • Ability to travel up to 15%
