Z1 Product Development Vendor Coordinator
Description

Z1 is seeking a Product Development Vendor Coordinator to facilitate the introduction of Z1 branded products from the conceptualization phase through commercialization. This role will serve as a critical link between our engineering team and third-party manufacturing representatives. In this role, you will manage communications, ensure alignment on project specifications, and facilitate smooth production processes for our in-house designed automotive parts. Success in this role is the ability to communicate well with multiple personality types, juggle and prioritize many daily tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.


This job is 100% onsite in Carrollton, GA. 


Responsibilities:

· Act as a primary point of contact between the engineering team and third-party vendor representatives.

· Coordinate the exchange of technical specifications, design requirements, and production timelines to ensure seamless collaboration.

· Assist in negotiating timelines and production expectations with vendors to meet company deadlines.

· Help maintain project timelines.

· Collaborate with the engineers and quality control team to ensure manufactured parts meet our in-house design standards. 

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, supply chain management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

· Experience in vendor coordination, project management, or managing many daily tasks

· Strong communication skills, with the ability to bridge technical and operational conversations effectively.

· Skilled in PC usage and associated software including Microsoft Office.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced, results oriented, environment.

· Driven personality with the desire to learn.


Desired Qualifications:

· Experience with global manufacturing.

· Familiarity with automotive parts and manufacturing processes

· Basic understanding of engineering drawings, CAD files, or technical specifications.

· Experience with project management software, (e.g., Jira).

· Automotive Enthusiast with automotive technical knowledge.

· Ability to turn a wrench 


Physical Demands: 

· Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods

· Must be able to lift 40lbs.
