Job Summary:
Van Body Assembler is responsible for assembling and installing van bodies, including walls, floors, and roofs, to meet high-quality standards. An important aspect of the position is a strong attention to detail, excellent hand-eye coordination, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
? Assemble and install van bodies, including walls, floors, and roofs.
? Measure and cut materials according to specifications.
? Use various tools and equipment, such as saws, drills, and riveters.
? Ensure accurate and precise installation of components.
? Conduct quality control checks to ensure assemblies meet customer standards.
? Work in a team environment to meet production deadlines.
Required Competencies:
? 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
? Strong attention to detail and ability to work precisely.
? Ability to work at heights, climb ladders, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
? Physical stamina to work in a fast-paced environment for extended periods.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
? Tasks require the regular and sustained performance of moderately physically demanding work.
? Some combination of climbing and balancing to include climbing ladders, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling.
? May involve the lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling of moderately heavy objects and materials (20-50 pounds).
