Pool Site Manager
Description

The Pool Site Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the pool facility, including staff supervision, safety enforcement, maintenance coordination, and customer service. This role ensures that the pool operates efficiently, safely, and provides a welcoming environment for all patrons and staff. The Pool Site Manager acts as the on-site leader and liaison between lifeguards, patrons, and upper management.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of the pool facility, ensuring all safety, cleanliness, and operational standards are met.
  • Supervise and schedule lifeguards, swim instructors, and other pool staff.
  • Ensure proper coverage of shifts and fill in when necessary.
  • Conduct regular staff check-ins, in-service training, and performance evaluations.
  • Monitor water quality and coordinate with maintenance personnel for chemical levels, cleaning, and equipment repairs.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for patron questions, concerns, and conflict resolution.
  • Enforce pool rules and safety regulations consistently and professionally.
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, maintenance issues, and staff hours.
  • Open and close the facility as scheduled, including completing checklists and securing the site.
  • Report directly to the Aquatics Director or designated supervisor with updates and recommendations.
