Business Unit/Department: Instrumentation and Valve Services


Location: Toledo, OH


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provides engineering, diagnostics, and maintenance planning support
  • Troubleshoots electrical instrumentation components
  • Leads maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration projects/initiatives
  • Maintains a valid driver’s license
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and perform work outdoors in any external and internal conditions.
  • Works overtime that is required to complete assignments (may include weekend work).
Requirements

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Must have a minimum of a 2-year vocational or technical college degree OR a minimum of 5 years of experience working in an industrial/manufacturing environment (automotive service experience preferred). Military experience in this or a related field will also be considered.
  • Must have a deep understanding of the operating principles, installation, and maintenance of low voltage (50V or below) AC and DC electrical circuits.
  • Must have a deep understanding of plant instrumentation/calibration.
  • Both HART and FIELDBUS Protocols
  • Must be able to read blueprints and schematics.
  • Must possess strong safety principles and be able to work safely in a plant.
  • Is proficient with calibration and mechanical tools and equipment.
  • Is personable and willing to interact professionally with refining industry customers.
  • Is willing to work individually or as a team member.
