Description
The primary responsibility for the C2C Network Engineer SME position is to plan, design, deploy, and continue to support a mission critical project for the Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) and Armis Agentless Device Security platform. Secondary responsibilities for the position include the deployment and continued support of enterprise network infrastructure systems in the areas of Route/Switch, Security, and Wireless technologies. Technologies utilized by the Enterprise Network Engineer SME include: Multiple Switch vendors, Juniper, Ruckus, Aruba, Cisco switches, Palo Alto Firewall, and Panorama. The position also requires demonstrated competence in LAN/WAN technologies. The C2C Network Engineer SME is responsible for the coordination of cross-functional teams in relation to the deployment and support of the physical/virtual network infrastructure, which includes technologies such as VMWare, Linux, Windows Server, physical servers, and enterprise storage arrays.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Attending planning sessions to understand business and technical requirements.
- Recommending cost-effective, technically feasible network solutions that meet initial capacity requirements, provide long-term scalability, and anticipate future growth and performance needs.
- Adhering to and following change management policies that facilitate a stable, well-documented network infrastructure that meets organizational requirements. This includes the creation, submission, review, and periodic representation of complex changes in periodic change management meetings.
- Documenting projects, support actions and other administrative artifacts to serve as reference material for related support activities and management staff.
- Ensuring incidents and service requests adhere to established service level agreements (SLAs).
- Experience with SolarWinds, TCPDump, Wireshark and analyzing network traffic.
- Submitting written and verbal status reports as requested by management staff.

Desired/Required Skills:
- Experience with Comply to Connect (C2C), and designing, deploying, and tuning the Armis Security Solution.
- Experience with implementation, sustainment, maintenance, and administration of the Armis Security Solution.
- Experience troubleshooting and resolving issues affecting the overall performance, stability, and availability of the Armis Security Solution.
- Knowledge of related cloud technologies on which Armis depends including but not limited to containers, Kubernetes, RESTful API, and microservices.
- Experience with TCPDump, Wireshark and analyzing network traffic.
- Should be capable of organizing, tracking, and managing multiple projects and deadlines.
- Plan, design, deploy, and continue to support a mission critical project for the Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) and Armis Agentless Device Security platform.
- Deployment and continued support of enterprise network infrastructure systems in the areas of Route/Switch, Security, and Wireless technologies.
- Participate in business planning meetings to understand and recommend the best technical, most cost-effective, network solutions that meet initial capacity, long-term scalability and growth, and performance requirements.
- 8140 compliance required (Security and OS Certification).
- Active secret level government clearance or higher required.
