The Treasury Management Solutions Consultant is responsible for managing the banking/TM services for existing treasury management clients while also assisting other client-facing sales teams regarding banking services and treasury management services for their commercial clients/prospects. The Treasury Management Solutions Consultant delivers integrated treasury management solutions to a wide array of clients by providing product expertise and consultation.
A successful Treasury Management Solutions Consultant will have strong banking, treasury management and sales experience to partner with clients in understanding their unique business needs and identifying appropriate treasury management solutions for recommendation and implementation.
After one year as our Treasury Management Solutions Consultant, you will know you were successful if you are able to handle the following confidently and independently
- Identify and develop new business across the bank’s growing footprint.
- Assess client needs and recommend appropriate treasury management solutions.
- Actively manage a growing portfolio of treasury management clients.
- Understand competitors’ strengths and gaps to effectively position the bank’s treasury management solutions.
- Promote new sales development through frequent client interactions to introduce new products and provide market and industry updates.
- Execute strategic plans in coordination with global business development initiatives.
- Manage complete sales process including proposals and implementations.
- Some overnight travel may be required (less than 25%).
What we are looking for…
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with a concentration in business or finance preferred.
- CTP certification or working towards certification required.
- Advanced knowledge of payment systems required.
- Thorough understanding of computer-based spreadsheets, business intelligence and word processing.
- Requires a minimum of five to seven years’ combined experience in sales and banking.
- Requires a proven track record of successful relationship management experience.
- Requires a sound knowledge of banking and treasury management principles.
- Must exhibit outstanding communication and follow-through with a successful history of building and growing professional relationships.
- Must demonstrate successful outside calling skills including prospecting.
- Must be able to provide self-start and self-direction with day-to-day task management.
