Description

Stakkd is seeking an entrepreneurial and ambitious Manufacturing Engineer to spearhead and lead the growth of Stakkd’s racking and roll forming manufacturing operations. This ground-floor opportunity offers the chance to shape and grow Stakkd with the support of a well-established, robust affiliate company, offering access to a multitude of markets, a strong capital markets team, and infrastructure to support corporate administration. 


Stakkd aims to lead in the development and ownership of high-quality racking systems for automated industrial and cold storage facilities. Stakkd’s platform combines real estate development expertise with automated material handling and warehouse racking systems. This vertically integrated approach allows us to seamlessly deliver innovative storage solutions. 

The Manufacturing Engineer will assist in plant operations and responsible for creating and maintaining a production schedule, tracking operational performance, ensuring product quality, process improvement and cost savings, and act as the liaison between the plant and corporate office, and assist in the plant operating optimally for a metal roll forming manufacturing facility in Franklin, IN. This position will work closely with the Plant Foreman and Project Managers. The ideal candidate will have the desire and capability to grow into a Plant Manager or other senior level position in the company. 


Essential Position Functions

  • Working with the Plant Foreman to coordinate and manage the overall plant operation and production.
  • Manage and develop continuous improvement of plant processes and procedures in an effort to cut costs, improve lead team and quality. 
  • Responsible for tracking and analyzing production output, product quality, quality control procedures, quality checks and timely delivery of product.
  • Manage the production schedule in collaboration with the Project Manager and Plant Foreman to align priorities and deadlines.
  • Reporting and tracking of quality control, raw material, production to schedule performance, and finished goods and report to corporate office. 
  • Maintain a working knowledge of mechanical operations, particularly punch presses and rollers, to troubleshoot and improve efficiency.
  • Key contribution in the setup and operational launch of a new facility, ensuring seamless integration of processes and workforce.
  • Other duties as assigned. 
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering (Industrial Engineered or equivalent preferred), or a related degree.
  • 1-5+ years of experience in plant operations, production management, shift lead, quality management, or a related field.
  • Bilingual in English and Korean a plus. 
  • Ability to read and understand CAD files and part specs
  • Experience with punch presses and roll forming a plus. 
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills to motivate and lead by example.
  • Working knowledge of metal mechanical production equipment.
