Job Summary:
As a Pharmacy Technician, you’ll be an essential part of our veterinary team, ensuring that every patient receives the right medication, at the right time, with the highest level of accuracy. Your expertise in preparing and dispensing medications tailored to each animal’s unique needs will directly contribute to their health and recovery.
Beyond filling prescriptions, you’ll be a guardian of safety and efficiency, managing inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining meticulous patient records. Your attention to detail, commitment to security protocols—especially for controlled substances—and passion for animal welfare will help ensure our hospital runs smoothly and delivers exceptional care.
Collaboration is key in this role, as you’ll work closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support staff to provide seamless pharmaceutical support. Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a veterinary pharmacy setting or a human pharmacy with a strong interest in veterinary medicine is highly desirable.
- Completion of a formal Pharmacy Technician training program is preferred.
