We are seeking a Dental Assistant to work with a dentist to conduct exams for Veterans in portable clinics in various locations. Responsibilities:
- Work in portable dental clinic for Veterans in various locations throughout Illinois.
- Prepare patients for dental exam.
- Dental x-rays.
- Work with adults of various ages.
- 1-2 years of experience in the Dental Field
- Active Dental Assistant Certification
- Radiology Certification, State or DANB
- Able to pack up, load, set up, and haul dental equipment
- Valid driver’s license, reliable/own transportation, and willingness to travel to assigned clinic locations as needed
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Suite
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Great interpersonal, patient care, and relationship building skills
- Professional verbal & communication skills
