Job Details:

NexPoint is one of the fastest growing DST sponsors in the country and currently seeking a National Accounts Director responsible for promoting NexPoint’s 1031 exchange eligible DST offerings, Reg D offerings and interval funds, along with other closed end and open end funds. The Director, National Accounts will work closely with head office staff at prospective client organizations and research teams at key broker dealers to get placement of NexPoint’s funds on recommended/preferred lists.  The individual is responsible for representing NexPoint in these distribution platforms.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain business relationships with financial advisor professionals in the sales territory
  • Maintain a high-level understanding of NexPoint’s wide range of investment products and global investment views
  • Support advisors with day-to-day account management and client servicing
  • Maintain and develop client relationship, preferably across multiple asset classes
  • Ensure strong product knowledge capable of explaining and discussing a range of investment strategies
Requirements
  • Must have a proven track record of success with Independent Broker Dealers, preference for experience working with Registered Investment Advisors
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Key Accounts Role with extensive IBD & RIA relationships 
  • Proven Investment Sales experience with a strong personal network to relevant financial advisor professionals across the relevant territory
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • FINRA Series 7, 63 licenses required
  • Must be capable of creating relationships, and maintaining and strengthening existing relationships
  • Must have demonstrated level of intelligence-analytic and quant ability, ability to grasp and articulate complex topics
  • Innovative mindset with a constant eye on new approaches to accomplishing their goals
  • Ability to travel extensively
