Jamestown Regional Medical Center, a financially stable and independent 25-bed Critical Access Hospital, is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with a passion for rural healthcare and community well-being.

The Opportunity

The CFO is a key member of the hospital’s executive leadership team, responsible for overseeing all financial operations, ensuring fiscal health, and supporting the organization’s mission of delivering high-quality patient care. This role requires a hands-on, results-driven leader with deep expertise in revenue cycle management, cost reporting, and financial strategy for Critical Access Hospitals (CAH).

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic financial leadership and oversight of treasury, budgeting, audit, tax, accounting, purchasing, real estate, and      insurance functions.
• Partner with the CEO and leadership team to drive financial sustainability and long-term planning.
• Lead compliance efforts related to the Jamestown Regional Medical Center Compliance Program to ensure regulatory and      financial integrity.
• Optimize revenue cycle processes, reimbursement strategies (including Medicare/Medicaid and private payers), and financial      reporting.
• Collaborate with clinical and operational leaders to enhance financial performance and efficiency.
• Stay ahead of industry trends and healthcare technology advancements to position the hospital for future success.

 Qualifications & Experience

• Required:  Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration,  Finance, or Accounting.
• Preferred:  Master’s degree (MBA, MHA, or related field) and CPA certification.
• Minimum of 5 years of senior financial leadership in a Critical Access Hospital.
• Strong expertise in CAH revenue cycle management and reimbursement structures.
• Experience with Epic software preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to lead financial operations in a complex, regulatory-driven healthcare environment.
