The IT Systems Administrator-Field Support Engineer shall provide comprehensive IT support classified communications systems for Army MIRC. The systems administrator shall be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and securing hardware and software across the enterprise, as well as managing user accounts and providing excellent customer support. Additionally, the administrator will perform IA(information assurance functions.
Key Tasks:
· Perform Information Assurance services for classified systems locally (see 838 Exhibit X for location data).
· Set up, configure, and maintain intelligence training computers, printers, scanners, and servers.
· Provide user support, including troubleshooting and account management.
· Implement and maintain system security measures in accordance with Army Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG).
· Conduct system administration duties on classified communications equipment.
· Manage configuration control and maintain documentation of system status.
· Assist with Army Information Assurance (IA) requirements and user compliance.
· Travel to various locations as needed to provide on-site support.
Performance location – The performance locations for System Administrators will periodically change based on the need of the government. As the mission requirements change the location itself will also move to a 24/7 requirement, and the System Administrator support will be required to cover 75% of the mission time. The shift in mission requirement will be identified within 180 days prior to mission start.
- Must 5 years’ experience in classified IT services and networking.
- Must have IAM and or IAT level II or III certifications in compliance with DoD 8140.
- Must have a TS/SCI level government clearance with CI Polygraph

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science and or Information Technology
- MIRC experience
