Loch Harbour Group is seeking a Junior ServiceNow UI/UX Designer to support user experience research, interface design, and prototyping for ServiceNow applications within the DLA Enterprise. The ideal candidate will assist in gathering user needs through focus groups and data collection, represent stakeholders throughout the design lifecycle, and collaborate with architects and developers to create intuitive, user-friendly designs. This role provides an excellent opportunity to develop expertise in Human-Centered Design (HCD) and ServiceNow UI/UX best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support research strategies to identify user needs through focus groups and data collection techniques.
- Represent DLA Enterprise, functional customers, and government stakeholders throughout the design lifecycle, from discovery to validation and adoption.
- Engage with customers to understand requirements, define user roles, and optimize experiences.
- Assist in developing UI/UX standards for DLA Enterprise ServiceNow applications.
- Create design prototypes in collaboration with architects and application developers.
- Apply Human-Centered Design (HCD) principles to improve usability and accessibility.
- Work within Agile development teams, contributing to design discussions and iterations.
Minimum Requirements:
• 2+ years of experience in user experience and interface design.
• 6+ months of experience designing ServiceNow UI/UX.
• 2+ years of demonstrated experience applying Human-Centered Design (HCD) methodologies.
• IC Agile Certified Professional (ICP) or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification.
• ServiceNow Certified Systems Administrator.
Minimum Requirements:
• 2+ years of experience in user experience and interface design.
• 6+ months of experience designing ServiceNow UI/UX.
• 2+ years of demonstrated experience applying Human-Centered Design (HCD) methodologies.
• IC Agile Certified Professional (ICP) OR Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification.

Required Qualifications:
• U.S. Citizen
• Active Secret Clearance
• Must be able to pass a background check and obtain/maintain a DoD clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Exposure to UI/UX design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
• Understanding of ServiceNow UI policies, theming, and front-end customization.
• Basic knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG, Section 508) and responsive design.
• Experience working in an Agile or Scrum development environment.
• Prior internship or project experience in government, enterprise IT, or digital transformation.
