Loch Harbour Group is seeking a Senior ServiceNow UI/UX Designer to support the DLA Enterprise by researching, designing, and optimizing user experiences and interfaces for ServiceNow applications. The ideal candidate will develop research strategies to gather customer needs, represent stakeholders throughout the design lifecycle, and establish UI/UX standards for enterprise-wide applications. This role requires expertise in Human-Centered Design (HCD), UI/UX best practices, and ServiceNow interface development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop research strategies, including focus groups, user interviews, and data collection to understand customer needs.
- Represent DLA Enterprise, functional customers, and government stakeholders throughout the design and development lifecycle.
- Engage with customers and stakeholders to define user roles, workflows, and experiences.
- Create UI/UX standards and best practices for ServiceNow applications used across the DLA Enterprise.
- Develop and validate design prototypes in coordination with architects and application developers.
- Ensure designs align with Human-Centered Design (HCD) principles and support customer adoption.
- Collaborate with Agile development teams to implement and refine UI/UX components.
- Optimize user experiences by improving interface efficiency, accessibility, and responsiveness.
Minimum Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in designing user experiences and interfaces.
- 3+ years of experience designing ServiceNow UI/UX.
- 3+ years of demonstrated experience applying Human-Centered Design (HCD) methodologies.
- ServiceNow Certified Systems Administrator.
- IC Agile Certified Professional (ICP) OR Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification.
Required Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizen
- Active Secret Clearance
- Must be able to pass a background check and obtain/maintain a DoD clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and persona development.
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow UI policies, theming, and front-end development frameworks.
- Proficiency in UI/UX design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG, Section 508) and responsive design principles.
- Prior experience supporting government agencies or enterprise IT systems.
