Loch Harbour Group is seeking a Mid-Level ServiceNow Application Developer to support the design, development, and configuration of ServiceNow solutions for a government client. The ideal candidate will analyze functional business applications, develop workflows, and translate design specifications into functional applications. This role requires a strong background in ServiceNow development, software engineering, and integrations, with a focus on optimizing workflows and leveraging out-of-the-box capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and configure ServiceNow applications to meet business and functional requirements.
• Analyze and implement workflows for finance, accounting, personnel, logistics, and contracts functions.
• Design, code, test, debug, and refine software solutions to optimize system performance.
• Ensure adherence to best practices and ServiceNow out-of-the-box capabilities for scalability and maintainability.
• Provide technical direction to junior developers, ensuring project deadlines are met.
• Assist in the development and implementation of integrations and API connections for ServiceNow applications.
• Prepare technical documentation for user and system workflows.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software issues, optimizing system efficiency and security.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure alignment with Agile methodologies and development frameworks.
Minimum Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• 3+ years of experience in ServiceNow development.
• Understanding of Java and its application in software development.
• 4+ years of experience in a development lead role.
• Familiarity with Integration and API Development.
• ServiceNow Certified Systems Administrator.
• 1+ ServiceNow Implementation Specialist and/or Application Developer Certifications.
• ICAgile Certified Professional (ICP) or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification.
• CompTIA Security+ (Required for IT1 Administrators only).
Required Qualifications:
· U.S. Citizen
· Active Secret Clearance
· Must be able to pass a background check and obtain/maintain a DoD clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience supporting enterprise-level ServiceNow implementations.
• Understanding of ITSM, ITOM, and ITBM frameworks within ServiceNow.
• Familiarity with Agile, SAFe, and DevOps development methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for workflow optimization and process automation.
