Loch Harbour Group is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Application Developer to design, develop, and configure ServiceNow capabilities that meet business and functional objectives for a government client. The selected candidate will analyze functional business applications, develop workflows, and translate detailed designs into fully functional application solutions. This role requires expertise in software development, integrations, and API development, with a strong focus on optimizing workflows and leveraging out-of-the-box ServiceNow capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and configure ServiceNow applications to meet functional and design specifications.
• Analyze business processes in areas such as finance, accounting, personnel, logistics, and contracts, translating them into application solutions.
• Design, code, test, debug, and refine software for optimized performance and efficiency.
• Develop and enhance workflows to reduce operational time and improve automation.
• Provide technical direction to development teams, ensuring deadlines are met and best practices are followed.
• Ensure integration and API development align with project and enterprise needs.
• Prepare technical documentation, including user guides and process documentation.
• Promote best practice use of ServiceNow out-of-the-box capabilities while ensuring customization aligns with governance standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex software and system issues, balancing performance and security requirements.

 Minimum Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in software development.
• 5+ years of experience in ServiceNow development.
• Strong knowledge and experience with Java.
• 4+ years of experience as a development lead, guiding teams through complex projects.
• Experience with integration and API development in enterprise environments.
• ServiceNow Certified Systems Administrator.
• 2+ years as an Implementation Specialist and/or Application Developer Certifications in ServiceNow.
• ICAgile Certified Professional (ICP) OR Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification.
• CompTIA Security+ (as applicable for security requirements).

Required Qualifications:

• U.S. Citizen
• Active Secret Clearance
• Must be able to pass a background check and obtain/maintain a DoD clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience developing enterprise-level applications within the ServiceNow platform.
• Expertise in IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), or IT Business Management (ITBM).
• Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, and Agile development methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to optimize workflows and system performance.
