About the Role

As a Quality Operator, you’ll play a key role in supporting the quality department including inspection, the CMM Lab, and Calibration. You will be a resource for our quality team while staying aligned with our core values: Great People, Going Beyond, and Growing. 


What You’ll Do

· Blueprint Interpretation and Inspection:

o Operate automated inspection equipment, hand tools, and instruments to inspect machined products for imperfections and ensure quality.

o Read and interpret blueprints and proficiently to ensure product compliance.


· Documentation and Reporting:

o Maintain accurate and detailed records of inspection and test results per customer requirements. 

o Ensure proper documentation and traceability in accordance with AS9100 and ISO 13485 standards. 


· Cross Departmental Support

o Communicate effectively with team members and members of other departments. 


· General

o Maintain a safe working environment, upholding a proactive safety culture by identifying and addressing potential hazards.

· Education and Experience:

o High School Diploma or Equivalent.


· Skills and Competencies:

o Strong mechanical aptitude.

o Ability to express ideas, share information, listen actively, and demonstrate professionalism in written and verbal communications. 

o Promotes a sense of urgency to expedite work though area. 

o Ensure all internal and external customers receive positive service experiences. 

o Ability to learn and comprehend blueprints

o Able to make effective and timely decisions. 

o Able to work efficiently with minimal supervision. 

o Able to work both independently and as part of a team. 

o Proficient in various computer software applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
