POSITION TITLE: Aftermarket Account Manager
REPORTS TO: Director of Sales
POSITION PURPOSE/MISSION:
The Aftermarket Account Manager will develop, direct and implement strategic sales plans for Kondex aftermarket products and brands focusing on fostering relationships with existing customers, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction to achieve growth and profit objectives.
POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Maintain close personal contact with assigned aftermarket customers and prospects to understand their needs and preferences.
- Proactively identify new opportunities and work collaboratively with internal teams to develop new products and programs at existing and new aftermarket customers, converting these into long-term relationships.
- Work closely with engineering, product development, marketing, quality, and purchasing teams both at Kondex and with customers to ensure the highest level of satisfaction.
- Develop yearly forecast and account plans for each account, monitor progress, and recommend changes, as necessary.
- Participate in industry trade shows, educational seminars, and customer events to stay informed about market trends and represent Kondex.
- Provide the company with timely and accurate market and competitive information to inform strategic decisions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current and future industry trends to effectively position Kondex's aftermarket offerings.
- Prepare and submit reports as required to include sales calls and regular updates.
Position Challenges:
- Identifying and implementing new opportunities for current and new aftermarket customers/markets.
- Meeting sales and profit objectives for targeted accounts.
- Competing for internal resources and justifying new business projects.

Organizational Relationships:
- Primary internal customers: Vice President of Sales, Director of Sales, Marketing, Manager of Sales Administration & Analytics, Customer Service Representatives, Account Managers, Product Engineering and Supply Chain.
- Primary external customers: Purchasing, Marketing, Sales personnel of customers and prospective customers.
Requirements
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Five or more years of demonstrated sales success.
- Related post-secondary education.
- Project management skills.
- Background with agricultural equipment or strong mechanical aptitude.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Five or more years of sales success, managing key accounts or in a related industrial/agricultural sector.
- Prior technical sales experience with engineered, manufactured products gained through work experience or a college internship.
- Negotiating with internal and external customers in a manner that is consistent with Kondex values.
- Strategic planning experience in a growth environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business or equivalent experience.
