Talent Acquisition Specialist

Job Summary:

This role is responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent to support the company’s growth and business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in recruitment, excellent communication skills, and a passion for building relationships with candidates and hiring managers.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and coordinating offers.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and provide guidance on best hiring practices.
  • Utilize various sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, networking events, and employee referrals, to build a strong talent pipeline.
  • Conduct initial candidate screenings to assess qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Facilitate a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
  • Maintain and update applicant tracking systems.
  • Assist in employer branding initiatives to enhance the company’s reputation as a great place to work.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.


Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred or equivalent work experience in recruitment or talent acquisition.
  • Proven track record of successfully sourcing and hiring top talent.
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices and employment laws.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR software.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • High level of professionalism and confidentiality. 
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred.
