Description
The Fleet/Warehouse Laborer position is required to perform multiple daily tasks as directed in an efficient and profitable manner. Duties will require the employee to drive with use of a company vehicle. This position requires performing a variety of tasks including operating machinery that must adhere to all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, company policies and procedures and safety guidelines.
Essential Job Functions: Includes, but is not limited to, the job specifications contained herein. Additional duties or job functions may be required as deemed necessary by management personnel to contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Pick up and deliver fleet vehicles, parts, tools, equipment, etc.
- Maintain inventory controls
- Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment
- Maintain quality service by following organization standards
- Maintain safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintaining clean shop area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
- Completes daily paperwork as required by supervisor
- Re-builds lights by changing batteries, installing new batteries and light repairs
- General warehouse clean up – sweeping, organizing, etc.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Wash fleet vehicles as needed
Desired Qualifications:
- Forklift Certification
- High School Diploma/GED

Requirements
- Pass Initial drug screening & background check
- Maintain company standards post-employment for background checks, criminal record, driving record and controlled substance/drug testing, as required
- Communicate clearly both written and verbally
- Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
- Ability to maintain proper safety equipment required for each job
- Capable of working individually and as a team with other employees
- Ability to adjust to changing work schedule and work overtime
- Ability to work safely outdoors and under adverse environmental and weather conditions
- Capable of frequently lifting at least 50 pounds; manual labor may be required
- Ability to operate hand/power tools
- Ability to work from elevated platforms, ladders or truck beds
Salary Description
$13.00 hourly - $15.00 hourly
