Position Overview
We're seeking a talented PLC/HMI Programmer to join our expanding Automation Team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with HVAC-R equipment, combining programming expertise with hands-on engineering experience.
Core Responsibilities
- Design and implement PLC/HMI programs for industrial HVAC-R systems
- Optimize existing automation programs across our equipment line
- Develop solutions using various programming languages (Function Blocks, Structure Text, Ladder, SFC)
- Work extensively with Carel and Allen Bradley controller platforms
- Maintain and update electrical documentation and schematics
- Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance system designs
- Perform equipment testing and validation in factory settings
- Execute field commissioning across the United States and Canada
- Provide technical support to clients via phone and email
Technical Environment
You'll work with state-of-the-art automation systems, focusing on:
- PLC programming and optimization
- HMI interface development
- Electrical controls and power systems
- Industrial HVAC-R equipment

- Field wiring and installation
