Position Overview

We're seeking a talented PLC/HMI Programmer to join our expanding Automation Team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with HVAC-R equipment, combining programming expertise with hands-on engineering experience.

Core Responsibilities

• Design and implement PLC/HMI programs for industrial HVAC-R systems
• Optimize existing automation programs across our equipment line
• Develop solutions using various programming languages (Function Blocks, Structure Text, Ladder, SFC)
• Work extensively with Carel and Allen Bradley controller platforms
• Maintain and update electrical documentation and schematics
• Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance system designs
• Perform equipment testing and validation in factory settings
• Execute field commissioning across the United States and Canada
• Provide technical support to clients via phone and email

Technical Environment

You'll work with state-of-the-art automation systems, focusing on:

• PLC programming and optimization
• HMI interface development
• Electrical controls and power systems
• Industrial HVAC-R equipment
• Control system architecture
• Field wiring and installation
