The Administration Assistant to the Fleet Department provides direct support to the Fleet Manager and the Safety Department in achieving Safety and Loss Control objectives such as reducing incident rates and improving Safety and Health in the work environment.
Essential Job Functions:

- Through administrative tasks, support the Fleet Manager in all aspects of fleet goals and objectives
- Conduct research and report to Fleet Manager on compliance requirements
- Promote and reinforce positive safety culture through frequent interactions with personnel at all levels.
- Contribute ideas and make recommendations to aid in achieving Safety, Fleet, and Loss Control objectives
- Production of training materials (handouts, posters, booklets, binders, etc.)
- Administration of online training assignments and reports
- Assist with fleet & driver compliance programs
- Generate excel-based performance dashboards and reports using data from multiple sources. Confirm accuracy of data, resolve discrepancies, and mine trends using graphs, charts, etc.
- Assist with meeting, training and event logistics
Desired Qualifications:
- Associate Degree preferred
- 2-4 years relevant work experience
- Experience occupational safety programs preferred
- Experience with legal matters / litigation preferred
