Overview 

As an Accounting Consultant on the Implementation team, you bring your accounting background to consult customers through the transition of accounting software. You are great at connecting with the customer's accounting staff to assist them in the change of policies and procedures so they see the efficiency gains by using Vantaca from day one. 

Accountability Key Initiatives 

• Trains new clients on Vantaca Accounting
• Audits of financial data to assist clients with resolving out of balance accounts
• Work with new clients to successfully complete first round of financials in Vantaca
• Host training and assist with out of balance accounts for current clients as needed

Success Metrics 

• Clients under 85% of financials completed by the 30th of the month following 'Go-Live' month
• 0 past due tasks in audit

• To make sure all accounting related training for current clients and new clients are being facilitated accordingly. 
• Facilitate training as requested by CS account managers. 
• Responds to client via phone or email in an appropriate amount of time based on the type of request through Zendesk
• Assist in identifying how to work with escalated clients and take ownership of projects as necessary. 
• Assist in auditing and training clients on financial out of balances. 
• Configure Vantaca according to client needs
• Identify and document any accounting related bugs and make sure proper escalation paths are notified of these issues. 
• Document / scope accounting related enhancements for review by product team in Aha! 
• Participate and lead new client training calls in accordance with the onboarding project plan or on an as needed basis. 
• Assist in collecting data points for formation of accounting KPI’s 
• Facilitate accounting training on topics requested by internal teams and/or help training department create content for internal accounting related trainings.  

Qualifications 

• You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in accounting, finance, operations management, business analytics, or other related field.
• You've got phenomenal communication skills and are an innovative problem-solver.
• You're highly organized and really good at prioritizing your workload.
• You are great at interacting with people - customers, clients and coworkers. Your communication with everyone is professional, positive and constructive. 
• You are a terrific public speaker and comfortable with leading meetings.
• You've got a strong technology background, data management skills and you're advanced with Excel.
