Job Title: Coach Cleaner

Reports To: Car Shop Foreman

Type of Position: Seasonal

Employee Classification: Non-Exempt (Hourly)

Compensation: $18-$21/hr.

Location: Durango, CO

Job Summary: The Coach Cleaner positions helps ensure that railroad facilities, train cars, employee and passenger areas are clean, regularly sanitized and well-maintained.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Handles regular cleaning of buildings, train cars and Colorado-based business locations for passengers and staff
• Responsible for scheduled sanitizing of buildings, train cars and passenger/staff locations
• Replenishes cleaning and maintenance supplies, as needed throughout property
• Notifies supervisors about any reportable conditions or items for repairs and maintenance
• May assist with other Car Shop maintenance duties, as assigned

Education, Skill and Experience:

• Attention to detail paired with a strong work ethic required
• Ability to observe safety procedures and comply with company policies and practices
• Able to manage time efficiently and work well individually and on a team

Work Environment:

• Willing to work flexible schedule with occasional overtime hours, as needed
• Able to work both indoors and outdoors in all seasons and weather
• Must be comfortable climbing and standing on ladders and working from up to 12 feet off the ground
• Able to stand and walk as well as lift up to 15pounds throughout majority of daily shift
