About the Role 

The O365 Administrator will be a hands-on member of the Information Technology team who will provide support and management of M365 platform. This role is responsible for implementing, monitoring and consolidating our multi-domain footprint. This consists of Office 365/Microsoft 365 security suite/Azure/Entra SSO/InTune as well as overall workstation and server domain relationships. The administrator will also be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of Office 365 within their organization. This may include things like adding new users, creating groups, setting permissions, troubleshooting issues, etc. 


Responsibilities 

  • Develop a plan to consolidate multiple Active Directory domains into a single domain footprint. 
  • Manage Microsoft 365 security administration and reporting. 
  • Perform application maintenance, e.g., system parameters, user permissions, group policies, etc. 
  • Provide system support and maintain uptime as defined within the IT acceptable standards 
  • Develop, maintain and update Microsoft 365 governance documentation 
  • Serve as a point of contact regarding new requests related to Microsoft applications and solutions to meet business needs 
  • Support and administer the operations of all Microsoft-based infrastructures as well as projects based on that infrastructure 
  • Provide IT leadership, engineering consulting support and oversight for all areas of Microsoft related technologies, including Microsoft 365 and associated technology including best practices, security, and configuration 
  • Plan for and arrange changes, upgrades, data migration, or downtime as necessary and proactively communicate them within our organization

Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in Windows System Administration 
  • 5+ years of experience in Network Administration 
  • 3+ years of experience managing Office 365 environments 
  • Familiarity with security and compliance features in Office 365. 
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Expert knowledge of networking and Active Directory in a multi-domain network. 
  • Certifications for Microsoft 365 a plus
