We're seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Director or Vice President of Digital Demand and Lead Generation (depending on experience) to join our team and drive the growth of our pipeline, customer acquisition, and revenue through online data-driven demand generation strategies.


As the VP of Demand and Lead Generation, you will lead and oversee the development and execution of our demand generation and lead qualification strategies, ensuring that we consistently attract, engage, and convert high-quality prospects. You will work closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to optimize the full customer acquisition journey.


Key Responsibilities:


Demand Generation Strategy & Leadership:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive, data-driven demand generation strategy to drive qualified leads and increase sales pipeline velocity.
  • Own the end-to-end lead generation process, including strategy, campaigns, tactics, and performance analysis.
  • Drive growth by overseeing demand gen initiatives, such as digital advertising, content marketing, inbound/outbound marketing, SEO/SEM, webinars, and events.
  • Lead and inspire a team of demand generation managers, content creators, data analysts, and marketers to deliver high-impact campaigns that align with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand target audience needs, segmentation strategies, and effective lead nurturing tactics.

Lead Qualification & Conversion Optimization:

  • Implement lead scoring models and develop optimized lead qualification processes to ensure high-quality leads are passed to the sales team.
  • Oversee marketing automation tools (HubSpot, Avoma, DOMO) and lead nurturing strategies to ensure leads are effectively followed through the funnel.
  • Measure, track, and optimize the lead generation funnel to improve conversion rates and reduce customer acquisition costs (CAC).
  • Regularly report on lead generation metrics, KPIs, and ROI to senior leadership.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Strategy Alignment:

  • Work closely with the CMO, sales leaders, product managers, and customer success teams to ensure demand generation efforts are aligned with broader business goals.
  • Align lead generation efforts with product launches, promotional campaigns, and strategic partnerships.
  • Provide feedback on customer insights, market trends, and competitor activity to help shape product and messaging strategies.

Data-Driven Decision Making:

  • Leverage analytics and reporting tools to provide regular updates on campaign performance, identify areas of improvement, and present insights to stakeholders.
  • Continuously test and optimize channels, messaging, and campaigns to ensure the best possible results.
  • Monitor and analyze industry trends to ensure our demand generation tactics are innovative and competitive.

Team Development & Management:

  • Build, manage, and mentor a high-performing demand generation team focused on generating high-quality leads and accelerating the sales process.
  • Foster a collaborative, data-driven, and results-oriented culture within the demand generation team.
  • Manage the team’s budget and ensure resources are allocated efficiently to maximize ROI.
Requirements

Key Qualifications:

  • Experience:
    • 10+ years of experience in demand generation, lead generation, or marketing leadership roles, ideally within a B2B SaaS environment.
    • 5+ years of experience managing and scaling high-performing demand generation teams.
    • Proven track record of building and executing successful lead generation strategies that result in measurable revenue growth.
  • Skills:
    • Deep knowledge of demand generation tactics and strategies, including inbound and outbound marketing, account-based marketing (ABM), paid media, SEO/SEM, content marketing, and more.
    • Expertise in CRM/marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, Avoma, DOMO)
    • Strong understanding of lead scoring, lead nurturing, and customer segmentation strategies.
    • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data to drive decision-making, optimize campaigns, and measure ROI.
    • Experience with performance marketing metrics (CPL, CPA, LTV, CAC, etc.).
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
  • Bonus Skills:
    • Familiarity with SaaS metrics like MRR (Monthly Recurring Revenue), ARR (Annual Recurring Revenue), and churn rates.
    • AI marketing trends.
    • Experience working in fast-growing, high-growth environments.
