  •   Keeping Up to Date with Laws: Ensuring the organization remains compliant with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Conducting Risk Assessments: Evaluating potential vulnerabilities in the supply chain and taking steps to mitigate them.
  • Training Staff: Educating employees on food defense protocols and procedures.
  • Coordinating with Regulatory Agencies: Ensuring compliance with local, national, and international food safety standards, hazmat regulations. 
  • Performing Inspections and Audits: Regularly audit facility practices to ensure adherence to food defense plans and operational procedures.
  • Incident Response Planning: implements strategies and protocols set by compliance manager for responding to food safety incidents and facility matters swiftly and effectively.
