Overview:

The Field Sales Associate role is an incredible opportunity for an outgoing, engaging candidate to play a central role in the success of Spartan Race Inc. event sales. In this position, you will run our Exit tent, at centralized Spartan Race Inc. events, with two primary focuses at our events: answering basic customer questions (wayfinding, event schedule, etc.) and driving on-site sales for future events. Success in the role requires excellent customer satisfaction scores and strong sales numbers. Typical event weekends involve 36-44 hours of work.


Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Promote and sell tickets to future Spartan Race Inc. events as a primary focus
  • Travel to and from the venue location 
  • Arrive on-site Friday morning to own the setup of the Exit funnel and collaborate with our on-site team for festival area setup.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure location, items, and all necessary materials are displayed prior to the race day. 
  • Run the Exit Tent for the duration of the event, greeting our participants and spectators while answering festival/course-related questions
  • Brief and manage onsite Ambassadors (typically 1-3 on each event day), logging their hours and communicating to management for Ambassador hour tracking, post-event.
  • Breakdown of the Exit Tent and assisting teammates with festival area breakdown
  • Display proper customer service in all onsite communications
  • Coordinate pre-race, race-day, and post-event tasks as assigned by the Field Sales team
