Description

ESSENTIAL   DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 

· Will perform quality and process audits.

· Work with all line inspectors on quality issues, criteria, and expectations.

· Will work with the operations team on resolutions for quality issues.

· Work with teams for both internal and external corrective actions and follow through   resolution.

· Collect data for scrap charts and track for trends that are showing needed improvement.

· Understand how to use gauges, measuring devices, and quality equipment. Trains others.

· Perform dock audits as needed.

· Work with the engineering team on new product launches with 100% sorts, or audits based on   criteria needed

  from the NPD team.

· Performs 1st piece checks when new tools are added, as directed by supervisor.

· Able to perform re-work activities.

· Comply with all federal and state safety standards

· Comply with all housekeeping standards.

· Communicate with management pertinent quality and scrap information, make suggestions. 

· Communicate with foam operations personnel relevant quality and scrap information.

· Makes suggestion for training and development.

· Assists teams in carrying out continuous improvement and cost saving projects. 

· All other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor/management.

Relies on experience and judgment to plan and   accomplish goals. 

MS Office proficiency is preferred, with strong Excel
