KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:


ADMINISTRATIVE

  • Order and maintain office equipment supply inventory
  • Data entry of information into Google Drive, X3, LAS
  • Organize and maintain filing system and common office areas
  • Responsible for populating YoDeck with schedules, events, and announcements when required


ALBERT LEA

  • Update and maintain sales orders, shipments, and invoices for ALS
  • Assist with receiving and sorting incoming Albert Lea orders in the warehouse
  • Assist with loading and unloading seed from customer vehicles and van trailers
  • Weekly maintenance of ALS inventory


GRAIN OPERATIONS

  • Weekly maintenance of grain and feed inventory
  • Assist with product labeling of raw, finished, and waste products as required
  • Assist with loading and unloading of trucks as required


COMPOST OPERATIONS

  • Responsible to track and record waste movement in and out of the compost facility
  • Updating of X3 with waste movements
  • Responsible for billing
  • Create compost rows in X3 and maintain compost components

  • Reaching with hands and arms
  • Communication through speech and hearing and in writing
  •  Daily requirements:

- Bending, twisting, turning, reaching below the knee, pushing, pulling, squatting, kneeling, standing, walking, sitting

  • Lifting requirements:

-Regular, inconsistent lifting/and or moving requirements up to 25 pounds

-Regular, inconsistent lifting/and or moving requirements up to 50 pounds

  • This position requires a willingness and ability to work in an agricultural setting.

The environment in the warehouse is noisy, dusty, and hot, depending on the weather and what is being run through the food-grade facility at the time.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Self-driven with a strong work ethic, able to manage tasks independently and take initiative
  • Desire to perform both administrative duties and manual labor tasks to support farm operations
  • Comfortable with numbers and calculations
  • Strong attention to detail and well-organized
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Drive
  • Previous experience with ERP systems preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of people
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
