The Production Operator, Gaskets, manufactures textile gaskets used in industrial boiler products. This role performs all tasks involved in the production of the Company’s technical textile gasket products, including preventive maintenance and tending equipment, manufacture and inspecting products following standard operating procedures. The position follows standard work methods and practices safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible.

Essential Functions:

- Perform all tasks as assigned by supervisor.
- Inspect and label product per quality requirements.
- Troubleshoot the equipment and minimize downtime.
- Track production utilizing the appropriate visual management or documentation tools.
- Escalate safety, quality concerns or machine malfunction to the supervisor.
- Move finished goods in the designated area.
- Rolling gaskets and shrink-wrapping gaskets.
- Retrieve gaskets from the punch press process.
- Cross-train in other areas when time permits.
- Participate in team meetings and continuous improvement efforts.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous production or manufacturing experience, a plus.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is an on-site, full-time position, and the standard work schedule is 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday through Thursday.
Supervisory Experience:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Travel:
This position does not travel.
