Job Summary:
Perform various housekeeping functions, cleaning, sanitation, and other housekeeping functions observing high-sanitation and safety standards in accordance with hospital policies and procedures as well as State and Federal laws.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Perform cleaning procedures of patient rooms and common areas throughout the Operating Room.
- Maintain adequate linen supply for the departments.
- Remove waste and soiled linens using proper disposal procedures.
- Operate housekeeping mechanical equipment.
- Final Terminal, Terminal and Turnover of Operating Rooms.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILL/ABILITIES:
- Ability to read, write, and speak English preferred.

MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education – High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Work Experience – Prior cleaning experience in an institutional setting preferred.

ENVIROMENTAL CONDITIONS: Work environment consists of daily patient contact, which may include exposure to blood, or other body fluids.
