Description

Under the guidance of the CFO/COO, the Director of Operations is responsible for providing strategic leadership, development, and implementation of initiatives aimed at delivering excellent operational services. The Director works in collaboration with senior leadership to develop the vision and strategy for PRM operations and ensures the strategies are executed. This includes the management and direction of the organization’s information technology and database operations, including databases for programs and development. The Director is accountable for the oversight and direction of the general maintenance of PRM’s physical facilities as well as the Mission warehouse operations, including, but not limited to, inventory and supply-chain management.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Facilities and Maintenance: 

  • Provide leadership and supervision to Mission Operations staff, including hiring, training, and performance management.
  •  Provide strategic guidance to senior leadership surrounding PRM facility planning
  •  Oversee the maintenance of all PRM physical properties including, but not limited to, buildings, grounds, equipment, mechanical systems, and vehicles.
  •  Ensure PRM has a well-functioning system for facility and equipment repair and maintenance, including preventive maintenance.
  •  Perform building inspections and check maintenance workmanship of completed jobs.
  •  Certify that all necessary regulations are followed. 
  • Ensure organizational and housekeeping standards are maintained throughout the facilities.
  •  Participates as a member of the facilities planning team and assists managing property acquisitions, renovations and related activities.
  •  Develop, execute, and ensure compliance of procedures relating to the Mission’s vehicle fleet.
  •  Ensure the upkeep of all PRM-owned and PRM-leased vehicles and other equipment so they meet PRM standards.
  •  Oversee PRM’s equipment leases and vendor contracts for best use and return to PRM.

Warehouse:

  • Provide oversight of the collection, processing, receipting, and reporting of inventory, including in-kind donations.
  • Collaborate with Finance in identifying and utilizing the proper software to properly account for inventory. 
  • Oversee PRM pick-ups and deliveries of donations and inventory between campuses, ensuring prompt, professional scheduling; route efficiency; and coordination of merchandise.  

Information Systems:

  • Coordinate and direct the configuration, implementation and operation processes for the organization’s IT and database systems and department.
  • Collaborate with senior management to align the information systems strategy with the business strategy and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Stay informed on current IT best practices and software solutions to keep the organization’s systems relevant and secure.
  • Responsible for the data security for all PRM programs and development teams.
  • Serve as or identify HIPPA Security Officer

Other Responsibilities:

  •  Develop annual budget and control expenses that align with budgetary requirements.
  •  Engage in spiritual development activities for to ensure the growth of direct and indirect reports as well as other staff.
  •  Maintain a safe environment for all employees, donors, customers, clients, and volunteers
  •  Demonstrate understanding and comply with all relevant legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements, company policies and procedures, and the Code of Ethical Conduct.
  •  Follow the Mission’s Statement of Faith and lifestyle and adhere to the Mission’s employee policy manual and guidelines set forth by the CEO.
  •  Lead or participate in devotions, prayers or other organization activities that promote a credible Christian witness and lifestyle.
  •  Perform other duties within scope as assigned.
Requirements

  

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  •  Bachelor’s degree and at least seven years of experience in facilities or warehouse management, or a combination of education and experience.
  •  At least five years of management experience, resulting in strong demonstrated leadership, administrative, and    supervisory skills.
  •  Experience in project planning, vendor management and procurement.
  •  Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  •  Knowledge of safety practices and OSHA standards.

Salary Description
$90,000-$110,000
