What You Will Be Doing

Provide support in the development and administration of the Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering (BSA/AML) program for compliance with laws, regulations and rules governing operations and product offerings. Under minimal supervision, this position assists in the monitoring of various aspects of the Bank’s BSA/AML program. 


How You Will Get the Job Done

  • BSA/AML Compliance Monitoring and Review: Reviews alerts and transaction information to identify unusual transaction behavior. Documents support for conclusions reached. Prepares and submits Currency Transaction Reports and customer screening reports for potential OFAC matches. Collaborates with the BSA/AML Officer to investigate suspicious transactions. Reviews compliance with BSA/AML requirements for deposit and loan accounts.
  • BSA/AML Program Support: Assists in developing, monitoring, and updating the Bank’s BSA/AML related policies, procedures, and review/monitoring programs. Responds to compliance questions received from staff. Contributes to satisfactory audits and examinations. Maintains current knowledge of all applicable compliance statutes, regulations, and interpretations.

Professional & Educational Experience You Bring

A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. Minimum of 3 years Bank Secrecy Act account and/or transaction monitoring experience.

For this position, we anticipate a pay range between $28 and $42 an hour. Final offers will vary based on individual job-related knowledge, skills, and abilities. This position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on individual and Bank performance. 


Work Environment:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to type, carry, handle and feel objects, reach with hands and arms, talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds or more with assistance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception in the window environment and the ability to adjust focus. 
  • This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
  • Local travel is expected for this position.
