PanAmerican Seed Company is seeking a process-oriented candidate to procure, maintain, and distribute parental stock. The position assists the Stock Seed Manager with department operations to ensure uninterrupted production of PanAmerican Seed’s product assortment.

Responsibilities

• Manage quality control program to track inventory characteristics
• Prepare documentation to distribute internationally and comply with regulations
• Process inventory to conform to production site requirements
• Interpret system-generated data to provide material requirements planning
• Maintain department operating procedures, including specific work instructions, to support department functions and staff

• Must have an Associate's Degree with at least 2 years experience in horticulture, logistics, or similar field. Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Must be proficient with menu-based data management systems, MS Office programs
• Must have critical thinking skills, adherence to protocols, fluency in English
• Must be detail-oriented to maintain accurate records
• Communicates effectively: clearly and concisely provide instruction and respond to inquiries, using a variety of communication methods
• Manages complexity: Acquires data from multiple and diverse sources to complete tasks in a high-throughput environment

Salary Range: $70-75K
 

Physical Requirements 

• Ability to use hands/fingers 95% of the day
• Ability to sit/stand in dehumidified areas, including periods of 40F conditions, 100% of the day
• Ability to Lift/Carry up to 30 lbs 5% of the day
• Ability to Push/Pull up to 30 lbs 5% of the day
