Job Summary:

The NP will provide primary and specialized care, diagnosing and treating patients, prescribing medications, and promoting overall wellness. This role requires strong clinical skills, critical thinking, and a commitment to patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history and physical      exams.
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Prescribe medications and treatments following state and federal regulations.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, and imaging.
  • Provide health education and counseling on disease prevention, lifestyle choices,      and wellness.
  • Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and healthcare teams to ensure coordinated      patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in electronic health systems.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Adhere to all legal and ethical healthcare guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing (MSN/DNP) from an accredited program.
  • Valid Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in the state of practice.
  • Certification from an accredited body (e.g., AANP, ANCC) in the appropriate specialty.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of clinical experience (preferred).
  • Strong diagnostic, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Knowledge of electronic health records (EHR) and medical software.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Podiatry and Wound Care
  • BLS/ACLS certification.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with healthcare professionals.

Work Environment:

  • Clinical  setting.
  • May involve standing for extended periods
