Position Summary: We are expanding rapidly and seeking to hire additional Enrollment Advisors to join our team! The Enrollment Advisor plays a crucial role in assisting scholars to assess their readiness for technical programs and provides guidance on the application requirements and prerequisites. This position serves as a key point of contact for scholars, helping them navigate the enrollment process and ensuring they have the information and support needed to make informed decisions about their educational journey. They will focus on customer service, retention of applicants, and aiding through the application process.
Essential Job Functions:
- Work closely with scholars to evaluate their readiness for technical programs, taking into account their educational background, career goals, and personal circumstances.
- Contribute to scholar retention, enrollment conversion, and/or career outcomes through outreach to prospective scholars.
- Review application requirements and prerequisites with scholars, providing clear and concise explanations of the necessary steps and documents required for enrollment.
- Provide personalized guidance and support to scholars throughout the application and enrollment process, addressing their questions and concerns and assisting them in making informed decisions.
- Disseminate accurate and up-to-date information about technical programs, including curriculum details, program benefits, and potential career outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and up to date student information using CRM; including but not limited to the regular update of student statuses, detailed conversational notes, and secure document collection.
- Log and analyze data related to student obstacles and outcomes.
- Use CRM systems to track scholar information and maintain detailed conversational notes related to scholar interactions.
- Recognize and respond appropriately to scholars facing enrollment-related challenges or crises, providing referrals to support services as needed.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the technical programs offered, including admission criteria, prerequisites, and program-specific details.
- Establish and maintain effective communication channels with scholars, colleagues, and other departments within Futuro Health.
- Advocate on behalf of scholars by tracking their progress and areas of difficulty, providing feedback to improve the enrollment process. Collaborate with coaching team, Ed Providers, and Programs team when necessary to streamline the enrollment process and resolve any application-related issues.
- Assist scholars in meeting enrollment timelines to ensure a seamless enrollment experience.
- Provide exceptional customer service by promptly responding to scholar inquiries through various communication channels, such as phone, email, text, and in-person meetings.
- Crosstrain and provide support in other Scholar Support roles, including Help Desk, Outreach, Coaching Support, Post-Graduation Communications, Group Advising Sessions, etc.
- Collaborate in preparing for community group sessions or group advising sessions.
- Use the CRM to build functionality for gathering feedback from scholars regarding their experiences and needs. Use this information to improve support.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 3 years prior work experience in advising, education, counseling, or another related field
- Ability to de-escalate a negative interaction
- Ability to retain and utilize substantial amounts of detailed information
- Strong written and verbal communication skills demonstrated through email, text, phone, and in person.
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handling and prioritizing simultaneous requests
- Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond well under pressure
- Must have keyboarding, spelling/grammar, and intermediate computer literacy.
- Knowledge of college and higher education healthcare training programs and curriculums a plus
- Previous experience as a student advisor or coach is a plus
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a Service role, or Academic setting.
Supervisory Responsibility: This role does not have supervisory responsibility over staff.
Work Environment/Travel: This is a remote role. Travel will also be required to attend meetings and conferences.
Physical Demands: Able to sit, stand, and type for long periods of time. Ability to work irregular hours including after hours and weekends although this will be infrequent. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Position Type: This position is full-time, non-exempt. The hours may include weekends such as a Tuesday-Saturday schedule, nights and holidays.
