We're seeking an experienced Controller to join our rapidly scaling Series C startup. As Controller, you'll be a key member of our finance team, responsible for overseeing all accounting operations and financial reporting as we navigate our growth phase.

This role is ideal for candidates who are consultative, creative, and willing to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the full accounting cycle, including month-end and year-end close processes
• Oversee financial statement preparation and ensure compliance with GAAP
• Lead and develop the accounting team as we scale
• Implement and maintain robust internal controls and accounting procedures
• Prepare financial analyses to guide business decisions
• Support fundraising activities and investor relations
• Manage cash flow forecasting and treasury functions
• Collaborate with external auditors for annual audits
• Partner with department heads on budgeting and financial planning

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a controller role
• Experience in a high growth startup environment strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements
• Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems
• Experience implementing financial systems and processes
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Possess demonstrated problem solving, decision making and time management skills
• Strong organizational and leadership skills; ability to effectively work across teams to deliver shared goals
• Work well under pressure, adapting quickly to change and adversity
• Travel industry experience is a plus
