The property currently consists of our hotel, which boasts 70+ hotel rooms, a locally favorite restaurant, Harry's Ocean Bar & Grill, and of course beach service. The resort is also proud to have Cape May’s only oceanfront liquor store – The Wine Cellar at Harry’s. The Montreal Beach Resort has recently been acquired by Madison Resorts, with plans to offer a complete renovation to this already beautiful property. 


Summary:

The Liquor Store Supervisor assists the manager with various administrative tasks essential to running the established liquor store operation. Additionally, the supervisor delivers exceptional customer service while engaging with guests at Cape May’s only oceanfront liquor store, The Wine Cellar at Harry’s.


Responsibilities:

  •  Adhere to company policies and procedures.
  •  Ensure all guest interactions are positive, always greeting guests with a smile.
  •  Stock and merchandise priced items on the sales floor following company standards.
  •  Operate the Point-of-Sale (POS) system and cash register as needed.
  •  Maintain a clean and organized store at all times.
  •  Follow all POS and cash-handling policies.
  •  Enforce safety standards among Liquor Store staff.
  •  Create team member schedules in alignment with business operations.
  •  Ensure payroll timecards are accurate and approved.
  •  Hire, train, and coach Liquor Store personnel.
  •  Receive, unload, and accurately stock incoming inventory.
  •  Conduct quality assurance checks, inspecting products for defects or damages.
  •  Assists manager with maintaining strong and profitable relationships with vendors.
  •  Ensure compliance with all legal guidelines and regulations.
  •  Assists manager in continuously driving sales and increasing gross profits.
  •  Monitor product sales and research current trends to keep inventory relevant.
  •  Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Previous supervisory experience required.
  • Cashiering experience preferred.
  • Knowledgeable of today’s beverage trends.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs.
