Description
- Plans, initiates, and manages information technology projects.
- Lead and guide the work of technical staff. Proficient in English, written and spoken.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Serves as liaison between business and technical aspects of projects.
- Plan project stages and assess business implications for each stage.
- Monitor progress to assure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met.
- Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments.
- Assignments may be broad, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks.
- Level III performs more independent thinking and complex tasks with little to no supervision compared to Level II and may supervise others.
Requirements
- Develop and present monthly progress reports.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to PMO members to ensure projects follow established processes and standards.
- Audit the work of PMO members to verify quality and compliance.
- Execute process improvement assessments and recommend strategies to improve workflow and collaboration.
- Ensure accurate documentation of all meetings attended, including but not limited to meeting minutes, technical documents, briefs, action items, and decisions.
Other Tasks and Responsibilities
- Complete orientation and competency verification programs as required by departmental guidelines.
- Complete all mandatory training courses on or before their assigned due dates.
- When assigned, serve and participate in functions and meetings, providing timely and relevant information to support decision-making and process improvement.
- Participate in customer service initiatives and medical readiness activities as required to enhance health services.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly working environment.
- Obtain and maintain access to the DMHRSi program and submit bi-weekly workload documentation.
