Description
Summary
The AutoCAD draftsman will work on site a facility in La Porte, TX to support the Mechanical Integrity team, working 4 10's (4 days a week, 10 hours a day). The AutoCAD draftsman will assist the team/project by using AutoCAD to draft all piping and pressure vessel assets for assigned units.
Essential Functions
- Provide AutoCAD support for the generation of equipment and piping inspection drawings.
- Create orthographic equipment drawings.
- Create single line isometric piping drawings.
- Able to learn drawing symbols for piping components (e.g., valve types, fitting types, etc.)
- Ability to create dwg blocks with attributes.
- Drawing with the knowledge of SNAP and ORTH SNAP.
- Basic AutoCAD setup for automated publishing.
- Proficient with windows file explorer.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel, etc.)
- QAQC of inspection drawings
Other Functions
- Produce requested reports
- Other tasks as assigned.
Requirements
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Intermediate knowledge of AutoCAD
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10, MS Office, especially Word and Excel preferred
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills

Education
High School Diploma or GED Required.

Work Experience
AutoCAD Draftsman with 5+ years of experience with piping and pressure vessel isometrics.
