Stanford’s Restaurant and Bar (www.stanfords.com) is on the lookout for a dynamic and driven part-time Host to join our team at our Northgate, Seattle, WA location. Pay rate:

$19.97 plus tips




Responsibilities:

  • Open the door for guests.
  • Keep lines from forming at the door.
  • Answer incoming reservation calls.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, lobby, and dining room.
  • Complete reservations in the computerized reservation system.
  • Keep abreast of all food & beverage venues and menus.
  • Complete assigned opening, ongoing, and closing sidework
  • Greet guests in a warm and friendly manner.
  • Answer the telephone and facilitate guest requests.
  • Notify Manager of all guest complaints
  • Using the table management system, manage incoming reservations and venue floor.
  • Conduct restroom checks every
  • Knows our menu as well as servers.
  • Assist with daily administrative work as per direction of the manager.
  • Performs any and all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English with guests as well as all levels of employees in both verbal and written form in a professional manner.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to provide direction in a fast-paced environment; manage time effectively and work well in a team environment.
  • Must possess excellent customer relations, sales, & communication skills.
  • Must possess at all times during employment a valid Washington State Department of Health card and any other government required cards.
  • A desire to learn, grow, and a passion for progress in this career.
