Position Summary
The Sales Associate role is an entry level position responsible for generating leads, nurturing relationships with potential customers, and supporting the sales team in achieving revenue goals. This role is ideal for individuals who are eager to build a career in sales, develop communication and negotiation skills, and grow within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Respond to inbound inquiries and follow up with leads to drive sales opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, activities, and customer interactions in NetSuite.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, product knowledge, and competitors.
- Work closely with marketing and sales teams to optimize lead conversion.
- Assist in developing sales strategies and materials to improve customer engagement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects and customers.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable making outbound calls and handling objections.
- Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new sales techniques.
Education and Experience
- 1+ years of experience in sales, customer service, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- Basic proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, NetSuite) is a plus.
Working Conditions
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Salary Description
$50,000 annual base salary
