Description
Responsible for selling, receiving, and delivery of parts and accessories. In addition, sells new and used turf, compact construction equipment, and small agricultural equipment to new and existing customers. Performs in-store customer service, overall organizational promotion, and stocking duties.
Responsibilities:
- Promotes and sells products and/or services to meet customer needs
- Supplies Service Technicians with parts as required
- Assists with preparing and maintaining merchandise displays
- Verifies receipting-in of shipments and assists with placing Machine Down and Stock Orders in their proper inventory locations
- Assists in keeping parts department clean and orderly
- Follows up on shortages and expedites issues by reporting to the manager
- Represents AHW as a product expert for complete goods marketed by the company
- Promotes features, benefits and value of products offered by AHW
- Conducts equipment field demonstrations for new and used equipment
- Maintains knowledge of financing options for new and used goods
- Attends applicable sales training events and seminars
- Maintains knowledge of competitive activity and products
- Works with Retail Location Manager & Sales Manager to increase Velocity to Market
- Assists with making new & used equipment deliveries
- Assists with picking up trade-in equipment from the customer and bring to store location
- Assists with cleaning and detailing new & used equipment that you have sold, as needed
- Assists with maintaining a professional equipment display on lot and in showroom
- Assists with customer events and trade shows, if applicable
- Prepares high quality traded for equipment profiles with high quality profile pictures
- Always collect for sold equipment prior to delivery
- Promotes AHW’s complete goods products for sale to customers in a defined sales area
- Works with Sales Manager to develop targeted call lists
- Plans sales calls on a week basis as directed by Sales Manager
- Uses CRM tool to document all sales call activity
- Builds and maintains relationships with customer in area of responsibility
- Learns and follows AHW sales paperwork and documentation processes
- Maintains a safe working environment and adheres to company safety program at all times
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge:
- Excellent customer relationship skills
- Basic data entry/keyboarding skills
- Basic knowledge of parts and machinery
- Ability to use the John Deere Parts Catalog computer application
- 1+ years sales experience
- Knowledge of agricultural or turf equipment and farming or operational practices preferred
- Ability to analyze and interpret basic sales reports
- Ability to work flexible hours and in a team environment
- Ability to lift items weighing up to 75 lbs.
- Associate degree or equivalent experience
Pay Range: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
