 Job Summary:
As an Automotive Salesperson, you will be responsible for assisting customers in selecting and purchasing or leasing vehicles that best suit their needs. You will provide expert advice, guide clients through the sales process, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. Your goal is to develop strong customer relationships and contribute to the dealership’s overall success.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Understand customer needs and preferences to recommend suitable vehicles.
  • Present and demonstrate vehicle features and benefits.
  • Conduct test drives and answer customer inquiries.
  • Negotiate pricing and financing options with customers.
  • Complete sales transactions and necessary paperwork accurately.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of dealership inventory, promotions, and industry trends.
  • Follow up with prospective and previous customers to maintain relationships and generate leads.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and dealership performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with the sales and finance teams to ensure a seamless buying experience.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Previous experience in automotive sales or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with CRM systems.
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
  • High school diploma

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Must be able to pass background check.
  • Must have good driving record.
  • Must have driver’s license.
  • Must have basic knowledge of Computer systems.

Language Skills

  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups and/or boards of directors.

Working Conditions:

  • May have to work in a noisy environment and in inclement weather conditions.
  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays





Salary Description
$60,000 to $200,000 annually
