McIntosh Box and Pallet is looking for a 1st Sawyer to join our team in Buffalo NY! 

We are looking for an individual who is eager to join our team and willing to learn! If you have experience that is great but we are also willing to train! 

Shift: 6am to 2:30pm Monday to Friday

Pay: $15.50 and up based on experience

Sawyer Job Responsibilities: 

We are seeking a Sawyer to join our team. This role will be responsible for cutting and shaping wood products, ensuring precision and quality in all tasks. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to safety standards.

• Operate saws and other cutting equipment to process wood materials.
• Measure and mark wood according to specifications.
• Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy.
• Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Sawyer or in a similar role.

- Proficient in operating various types of saws and woodworking machinery.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise measurements.

- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in woodworking.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Good physical stamina and strength to handle heavy materials.
