Job Summary: The Components Manager is responsible for directing and managing all aspects of production, safety, and quality within the departments. This leadership role plays a critical part in ensuring operational efficiency, maintaining a safe work environment, and upholding the company's commitment to delivering high-quality fabricated structures.

Key Responsibilities: 

· Direct and manage plant operations with a focus on production, quality, and safety.

· Ensure daily production targets are met while implementing and sustaining lean manufacturing practices.

· Drive continuous improvement initiatives, staying informed about industry advancements and technologies to enhance competitiveness.

· Control and minimize labor costs while maximizing operational efficiency.

· Oversee time tracking, vacation scheduling, and attendance management for departmental personnel.

· Develop and mentor employees through targeted training, performance feedback, and career development programs.

· Maintain a well-organized and clean shop floor to promote a productive and safe work environment.

· Conduct timely incident investigations and implement corrective actions to address root causes.

· Actively participate in safety meetings and training sessions to reinforce a culture of workplace safety.

· Ensure the implementation and effectiveness of preventative maintenance programs.

Requirements

  

Qualifications:

· Supervisory experience in a manufacturing or shop environment (preferred).

· Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills with a proven track record in process optimization.

· Ability to lead and motivate diverse teams to achieve ambitious production goals.

· Experience in driving organizational change and supporting rapid product line growth.

· Knowledge of and ability to apply continuous improvement methodologies.

· Proficiency in business and management principles, including budgeting, strategic planning, and resource allocation.

· Demonstrated ability to create accountability and lead by example.

· Familiarity with industry-standard equipment and technical expertise.

· Knowledge of safety, quality, productivity, inventory management, and operational best practices.
